Default Tune a stock Z for more performance?

Theres a place in tampa wanting to tune my 100% stock Z. They said they can get more power out of it.

Is this possible?? I thought I would least need a CAI for some tuning gains.

Tunining will be done on a dyno also.

You can get more power out of stock Z, but you would be better off adding some breathing mods, and then tuning one time. With a good exhaust, high flow cats, a plenum spacer, and Pop Charger, you can usually add about 20-30whp with tuning via UTEC.

Unless it's the technosquare reflash, which I seriously doubt, they're probably bullsh1tting you

did they mention using a UTEC, emanage, etc? or they just want to take your car and "tune it" ?

You can DEFINITELY tune a stock Z, but not without reflashing the ECU or using a piggyback

Also +1 to what sharif said
