Definitely need a tune.

Though, the 350z really isn't the best platform for making a high-acceleration car. A mustang would be better for the 1/4th mile and such ... though, the 350z would totally own on the twisties...

I've never seen any car hit 17.5 on a dyno... I would question whether the dyno's sniffer was calibrated properly....

A dyno sheet would be helpful.

I ran a a 14.9 at 98 mph 3900 ft above sea level. If your running a 15.0 at lower than that you need a tune. If your running lean the stock ecu will pull timing out like there is no end in sight.

If you don't want your 3.9 i'll take it off your hands for a good price. Let me know.

Dude get that sorted out, of all the Z33 I have seen on the dyno, none of them have ever been that lean. They usually have rich AFRs from the factory.
This engine is like begging to be boosted at the AFRs I usually see. What is more shocking is a the 215whp you managed to make on a DJ of all dynos wow.

Lastly I have seen AFRs leaner than 17.5:1 on a dyno. Saw it first hand when I attended a tuning class, it was demonstrated.

You need not post BS like that and get everyone all worked up. Your dyno chart probably highlighted or stated the highest AFR it saw. That means, your car may have been at 17.5 at the very moment it started recording. Post the dyno sheets and I am sure you were somewhere well below 17.5 during the 'meat' of the run.

2000 is steep?

The utec is around a grand + a couple hrs of labor to install + dyno tune session. Seems about right to me.

A couple of hrs of labor to install? well that is if I am sipping on a beer and smoking my hookah while I do the install perhaps. Guess I am under charging then...thanks for the heads up!
