wow. pretty dope.

i'd suspect they'd key it to your car specifically so you dont go around flashing everyone else's car for free if you just paid for one unit...
i'd be interested in seeing the results.

If it does what cipher does and can reflash you ecu. Isn't it just a consult II. If anyone has had reflashes done via consult it happens the same way. The tech goes to the computer loads the consult then reflashes the car through the diag port. Reading codes and datalogging in real time. This software sounds like it can turn any laptop/pc into a consult. Which IMO totally rules cause consult works. With map switching you can go to a dyno session and try different maps and see which one leads you in the best direction and work towards optimization from there. Depending on the response time its being sent via email so no shipping charges or downtime.

Dumb question: Not being a smart @ss, but why would logging with orisis / unlimited TS reflashes be better than fine-tuning a UTEC ad-hoc on the road? My lap-top has almost become a part of my car, when I need to tweak a tuning parameter here or there for changing road conditions, I just open up my laptop - done. I've been able to dial my tune in pretty tight this way... Plus UTEC can raise the rev limiter as high as your engine can take...

Yes, it wasn't until 04.5 that the VQ got wide band O2 sensors

Hello Everyone,
Thanks for all of your interest and questions, and thanks to Pikespeake350z for kicking this off.

OK, the big 2.

Group Buy, at this time we don't have one planned but I will keep it in mind. If we do decide to have one in the future we'll post it here for sure.

Cipher owners who wish to upgrade, contact us via email at info@uprev.com and we'll work it out. It's not just a software update since there is a new cable involved.

Matt

I'm interested to know how many vehicles will a single license of Osiris will support or will their be licensing available to support multiple vehicles from one laptop. Also trying to figure out if any of the tuning parameters are user configurable, or if its purely going to be done via e-mail by sending your datalogs and mod list to UpRev.

Yes, you are reading this right and yes we can look at your logs and make changes to your tune if needed.

Tuning for things like MAF scaling and FI without being on the vehicle is risky to say the least. So for the time being we are only suppoting NA vehicles with Osiris.

The software does not include the capability to tune yourself, only to load maps we provide onto your ECU.

Exactly. The cable links to the fist car it is plugged into. If you want to sell the car, or Osiris, you will be able to unlink the pair but you'll need our help.

We don't have any way to a la cart the supported options. The software is what it is....
If that is all you want to change, we will accomodate this in your Tune, but the pricing stays the same.
