Osiris from Uprev
So we've grown a bit :-)
I recently cleaned the throttle body on my 2004 G35 Coupe 6MT and after putting everything back together, my car began idling pretty high around 1100-1400 RPMs. It threw a P0507 code. I tried the manual Idle Air Volume Learning procedure and although it would adjust the idle, it wouldn't keep that setting after I shutoff and restarted the engine. I thought the throttle body may have gone bad so I swapped it out with a new one but still have the same problem. I took it to the dealer and they couldn't get the idle to set with Consult either.
My question is, could the Osiris flash prevent the ECU from relearning the idle correctly? Has anyone encountered this problem before?

Just reflash the car with the most current Uprev map and it will correct your idle.
To the UpRev guys,
I'm sorry if this has already been addressed, but if I do the non-foulers to fix the CEL light caused by test pipes, will this skew the A/F ratio results from the stock wideband sensors in my 2006 G35 Coupe 6MT (revup)?
I've been pondering in installing non-foulers to remove the CEL light. I had my car tuned by Shawn Church automotive with great results. But I wish to start doing some data logging via the Cipher (don't have one yet). And im concerned that installing non-foulers might render the AF readings useless.
Another question I had in mind:
SC tuned my car with 5 maps. As I understand, I can permanentaly change the idle on my car via the Cipher. If my car is already tuned, can I change the idle via the Cipher without any problems? If I do this, will I have to change the idle for each map? Or will changing the idle settings via the cipher affect all maps?
My idle has previously been set to 850 via the cipher from another member. And it seems to me that my idle is still the same after the custom maps. But its just a question I had in mind in case I decide to change the idle settings on my car.
Thanks!

Hey Uprev, Dont know if this has been talked as this is a rather LONG tread, but hows does Osiris work with Nitrous? right now i am running a UTEC with plans to switch to Osiris. thank you!
many have said osiris with nitrous is a dream come true....i shall let you know within the month....im just bout to finish hooking mine up and tune.

They don't alter/adjust the air/fuel mixture at all.

Idle is a static value in the ROM file. You can't have different idle settings for different maps.
I would expect the Cipher idle adjustment to override the idle settings in the ECU because that is how the Consult II is designed to be used.
Is there any way you can incorporate an led indicator of which map you are on, just something that says 1, 2, 3, etc. I just want to make sure I am in the right map before blasting a whole bunch of nitrous and realize the map i was on didn't have timing pulled. Just a thought, lol.

If you are in N/A, just do reflash your ECU via osiris is way to go and best option. You don't need to do dyno tune unless you going FI or serious N/A build.
www.uprev.com has price for reflash ECU via osiris.
