Default UTEC air temp compensation spreadsheet

I've trying to configure my temp compensation in my UTEC. I've being looking the spreadsheet enclosed with the software CD of the UTEC, but I don't know if the result values are for the temp compensation or ignition compensation

UTEC Corrections
<1 14%
1-10deg 11%
11-20deg 6%
21-30deg 2%
31-40deg -2%
41-50deg -6%
>50deg -9%

This is for the fuel compensation or the ignition compensation????

No one uses the ignition compensation, then? I mean, do you have any value in the fields of ignition compensation?

Wow, that's wayyyy different than the correction map mine came with.... I didn't use the pre-packaged temp correction map though. I'm in the process of tuning my own temp correction map... I'm finding that (on my setup at least) timing seems to play a slightly bigger role than fuel adjustments...

Here's the base correction map that came with my utec cd.

I'm no expert but most just change the Fuel coz Air Density change when the weather get colder, hence you want to compensate and add more fuel.

Yeah, fuel definitely plays into that - but I could only affect the tune so much without going wildly outside of my desired AFRs. So - I have found timing adjustments to also be a big help in getting the tune right the the edge of the knock envelope... But that envelope never seems to stay constant. Sometimes I'll pick up a little knock here or there, then later I'll try to duplicate the conditions - and no knock... Kinda wierd.

Sort of OT, but I'm also installing an aftermarket oil cooler and radiator to help minimize local hot-spots in the cylinders - Maybe I can push the tune a little further if my cooling system is upgraded... I'm also thinking of a new front end or varis duct to get cool dense air right to the intake. A vented hood maybe??? AHHHH, when does the modding stop?!?!?! Lol~ :-)
