I think it does but you have to be using the Dashboard out, at least logger1 doesn't contain them even if it is selected.

I was using MPS and I just switched to UTI, I have been working with Jeff to make his software to work with my Windows 98. I get an error when I switched to Dashboard but the error was because of my low memory (64MB), I will try this with my new laptop and see if it work. Did you try the update?

th UTI defiantely works. It shows the coolant and air temps on the dashboard, and I have also set it up to add them to the logs the UTI creates. Go through all the setup paramters.

it is one of the settings on the drop down menu on the top left of the window..IIRC. I don't recall ,and I don't have time to leave the office and check it right now.....BTW, you have to be running the latest version of the UTI software. (it came out a couple months back.)

Well, on the manual saids that the 350Z version only works in logger1 mode, but I have tried it in dashboard mode and it works, showing the temperatures!!!
It's there any way to read the ECU ignition timing and the UTEC timing? Also, in the tables, is shown the same for "timing" and "ECU timing".

From the main menu, there are 1 thru 6 logging options with UTEC. 1 through 6 do work on my UTEC. I can't remember which logger option logs coolent temps off the top of my head though. Just open each one until you find the one that logs coolent temps...

I think it is logger "2". If you want a "full" log including air and coolant temps, you have to use the UTI software though. Logger "2" won't give you a complete log, like Logger "1" though. If you just want to see psi, load site, coolant, air temps, and rpm, then Logger "2" works just fine.

I have been using UTI and every time I select Dashboard it doesn't do anything. I mean everything is blank, the only way I see data is when selecting Logger1. That could be the reason there is nothing on my logs even if I select AIT as an option.

I agree with gothchick on this, I think you are probably on the right track athenG. I'd heard enough about user problems with the usb interface that I never bothered trying it even though it rubs me wrong to not be able to use something a little less archaic. The serial connection has been pretty solid for me and it's not like you gain anything from the transfer speeds usb could get you, you just get the convenience of not dealing with a nearly obsolete interface.

The problem is the the only Laptop I have that has a Serial connection can only run on Windows 98 I was able to make UTI work with it but when I try using Dashboard mode on 98, I get a memory error (really old laptop). Now I'm using another laptop that has XP but no Serial
