Hi just bought a reflash from uprev, and i'm wondering where to find the ecu. I thought it was under the dash on the passenger side. I have taken out the triangular shaped object with the 3 screws and unplugged the connector. so now i have this weird looking thing with a fan like object on top of it. Is this the ecu? If so why does my car still start? please help asap.

should be drivers side if i can remember

 

the ecu is on the passenger side. it's up, under the dash...behind where a glovebox would normally reside.

go to www.turboxs.com and download the manual for the 350Z UTEC; there are detailed instructions on how to get to the ECU in there.

 

This is too funny. Does your PC still work? I think you raided your desktop PC.
