Will the Utec lose its settings if it sat for over a year with no power to it???? reason i ask is i just now got my car back together and now im insanely LEAN!!!! Any help ideas???

I don`t think so ? because when it came to me there`s a base map inside, can`t edit it yes while its unpowered by either the 9V DC or the Car Battery, but lose the settings i guess no, you lose the settings only when u upgrade the firmware, someone correct me if i`m wrong.

 

Always backup your maps.... Even if it's just screen shots.

 

hmmm i could have sworn i did have a backup somewhere...grrr...the search is on!
