Default AFR looks weird

So I posted this on G35driver and since the 350z community is bigger I thought I'd ask you guys and girls.

So I sent a bunch of logs to Jared at UpRev the other day and during my spare time I converted all of my AFR's to excel spreadsheets so I could see what they were doing across the board. This is a 0-90 run and it is concerning me that my right bank is running considerably leaner than my left.

Now it isn't a full point over but in some cases it's 0.5 more. Does this seem normal?

I had came across a post on my350z yesterday (can't find it now) from the middle of 2006. He had basically the same issue so I was wondering, do the VQ's naturally run like this?

I am waiting for my new tune as we speak. This could just be in my head :confused2:

Yep. It's normal... My bank(2) generally runs a little leaner than bank(1). I tune off bank(2) so it doesn't go too lean compared to bank(1). I need to go dual channel. Lol!

I was told the difference has something to do with the Plenum "hooked elbow" design (between the TB and Plenum). The HRs probably won't have that problem being that they have dual TBs.

BTW, an AFR of 14 would have me nervous past 3000 rpms. EGTs, knock, etc... Hopefully you guys can get it down to around 13 on the retune~

I've found it easier to tune by 3rd gear runs -- getting into 3rd gear at about 1700-1800 rpm, then logging as you run to redline. You get a lot more data points.

Are you using Osiris to tune, or just Cipher to log?

Cipher to log to have Jared tune for me.

All he said was he wanted some 0-60 and 0-80 runs with some low RPMs.

They mentioned the beta to me though so we'll have to wait for that.

I just dynoed my car last night and I am having the same problem. Mine seems much worse though. I started a different thread about it.

At some points I am at 12 on bank 1 and at 13 on bank 2. Over a full point different!

Plus I have another problem at @5700 rpms with timing being pulled or something. Jared is looking into it for me.
