Anyone use UTI logger?
Basically all it does is:
1) Integrates seamlessly with UTEC
2) AFR
3) Logging
4) Dashboard
5) Analog & Digital inputs & outputs
6) Input / output scaling & calibration
7) Replay log with an AFR Plot/ Graph
8) Wideband or Narrowband
9) Type of fuel AFR (Gas, Diesel, Methonal, Alcohol, etc)
10) Tuna Pro - Knock amplifier
11) Tuna Pro - Knock light Threshold
You basically log into the Tuna. From there you can flip between Utec maps or Tuna parameters. Logging and Dashboard functionality integrates Utec & Tuna into one output.
Here's how one Subby guy installed his Tuna Pro. I did something similar, integrating it into my passenger side dash... I even fabricated a hard-serial mounting point (kinda like an OBD2 port). Pretty slick.

I originally ran my AEM AFR gauge off the Tuner... But then ended up running the AEM off Bank 1, and the Tuner off Bank 2.
It's kinda cool to watch the two banks AFR's fluctuate a little in relation to each other when I'm just tooling around town (ecu controlled). Bank 2 will run a little lean, then bank 1, then back to bank 2...
But when I nail it and Utec takes over, the Tuner & AEM are pretty much dead-on in synch with each other... Which leads me to the opinion that the factory ecu is sloppy.

cool 'puter rig!
I just built my wife a simple computer with a a nice gigabyte mobo, Core 2 Duo (my 1st dual core processor) with an Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro (cool and quiet!), Sata 2 drive, and a couple gigs of patriot memory - all in an Arctic Cooling Silentium case. She uses it for playing tetris and using quickbooks.

lol..
just wait and you'll get an email with the password. If you don't just email him and he does respond. I have never really taken advantage of that Auto Tune since every time I click it, it doesn't do any thing. Just make sure you change the PumpGas Excel File so it reflect the Target A/F you want. Great thing about this is that you can compare your A/F with your Target A/F when doing your logs. Just play with the software coz there is so many features (ie, Auto-Log, Audibles...etc.) Uti also make it easier to see your logs and any particular cell.

but I think it is well worth it especially if you don't have a Tuner. Just looking at the Cell (rpmxload) makes it much easier to see your A/F, Knock, PSI..etc. Also the Audible give you a sound if knock, Water Temp..etc reach a certain threshold. Lastly, the Auto log is great coz you can define what your want in you logs and eliminate unwanted useless data. If I can just have the Dashboard working then it is much even better coz with that you can have your IAT and Coolant Temp included in you logs, I'm probably the only one that is having problem with Dashboard mode
It all depends on how you're going to use it. For a carputer, I prefer the MPS logging program. It is very similar to the UTI but the MPS logger has a full screen display mode.
The UTI is the best thing out hands down as far as tools go though. I also like the peak boost display that the UTI offers. Finally, I like the fact that you can set the UTI up to auto connect on start up. The MPS software you need to push a button to connect, kind of inconvenient on my carputer system.
