Default Pulsar spark plugs 10hp 7tq?

In the new modified mag, they did a test on Pulsar spark plugs claiming gains of 10hp and 7tq on an independent dyno. Can you gain this much from just spark plugs?

oh dear lord.. no. maybe if you were losing power because the old plugs were so gunked up, in that case the new plugs just gave the car back what it was losing. in other words any new spark plug would have yielded those results.

Thats funny that I ran into this thread cause I just bought these spark plugs online about 3 days ago. ANyways my initial choice was to get the NGK but I saw the pulstar in all the ads and decided to take a closer look in them. I found that D-sports mag dyno them and gain like 5hp on a stock G35. Personally I wasn't that impressed considerin the G had 56k on it. I also read up on the review in Mod Mag with the 06 z. NIce write up but at 10 peak Hp I was a little skeptical. But in the end I said to myself to quit being a cheap *** and just try them out. I know they're expensive at 25 a pop but considering the fact that I spent over $1300 last year on parts and I only saw about 15-18hp they seemed like a steal. Anyway they should come in sometime next week. I should install them the day they come in. I'll be happy if even feel a difference in performance but if not then I guess I just wasted 150 bucks on spark plugs
