Default Easy to sell Cipher used?

I need to bump up my idle RPM for my Vortech. So instead of paying a dealer $100 for something that they won't guarantee, I was considering buying the UpRev Cipher.

Do you think it would be easy to sell it on here used for $350 or so? Searching, I've seen some go fast...but they aren't all that common on the FS or WTB section. I've already spent a crap load of money, and would rather spend the extra $300 on meth than be stuck not being able to sell the Cipher.

Why not get the full Osiris and keep it so you can tune your FI car with it? We'll be releasing the Ver 2.0 shortly and that will support FI cars without a piggy back or stand alone. It will also give you the ability to tune it yourself if you feel inclined.

You can PM or e-mail me if you have questions.

I find Cipher to be a very useful tool. You might want to keep it. It's good for retrieving and analyzing DTC (CEL) codes, changing idle, bumping timing, logging A/F, digital dashboard...

Cipher doesn't get all the hot press that Osiris does, but it is extremely useful. Once you get it, you might want to keep it...

That said, you can usually find someone to buy your Cipher if you want to get rid of it at some point. People like ___jb who have used it usually recommend it to friends, so it gets good word of mouth, so I'm sure you can find someone that would be interested in it.

Haha, that's what I'm worried about It would no doubt be nice to have around for when my car throws a code, or when a friends car is acting up.

Thanks guys...I'll think about it.

I'm sure that's what the manufacturer would like to hear.

If all you want is the Ilde changed, then get the dealer to do it. Many will hook you up for less than $100.

The COBB AP has the ability to change idle rpm +-250
