Nah, as far as I know... the correction they put in was just temp, humidity, and atm. pressure.

You know as many times as this dyno has busted my ***** it ain't DJ simulated

No i know corr doesn't dynoject simulate (we have seen that lol). I was just stating the reason they came up with the shoot out mode was to eliminate the smoke and mirror games and eliminate all the hidden corrections that can be done.

I believe they dyno'd Jason's car in Yakuza mode.

got in a bind in houston traffic last night and had to get on it.
I must say that I was impressed.
Definitely made a difference.
I'm just gonna get those numbers out of my head.

But I'm still curious if anyone knows the reason/solution the AFR spike, so bump =)

BTW chris I don't understand the hose method. what kind of hose and where do you put it?

I made 262.6 with no tune - stock y pipe and stock cats....

with a tune i would imagine 280 is not to far off without headers an no internal mods at all..

The other values that are inputed in shootout mode are the wheel diameter, psi of tyres and gear used. When tuning we usually do not use that mode.

That is a nice numbers indeed w/o the tune as u mentioned. Also your car is a A/T? I tell ya one thing at the shop the ambient conditions were these at the time of the tune.
96.3F, 37% Hum. and 29.97 Baro.

In any case, if there is more pwr to be had then by all means lets try to find it.
Lastly everyone knows that all engines even of the same make, year and model are not built the same.

That was a hot and humid day for sure and my car doesnt like hot and humid days i can say that for sure.. It's a MT 30k and i use 93 octane and Mobile 1. Dyno'ed on a nice breezy day... 4-20 was the date lol

And do you know what type of correction they used? Even when Julian@MRC tunes... his numbers are in the 280s when using DJ correction.

Can someone please tell me what he's supposed to make on a DD because I'm obviously missing the knowledge everyone else has

Was this done at MRC? He typically uses DJ correction for NA.

yes sir dyno'ed at MRC. I think out of that day i had the highest NA dyno but i left before some new Z's were getting on.. whish i would have to stayed to see the highest NA of the Day..

I know for a fact that he posts his NA tuned dynographs with DJ correction but I can't really say for yours

alright, lets quit talking about my peak numbers and instead find a solution for that AFR spike.

Anyone have any thoughts?

we were thinking that it might have something to do with the engine preparing to shift. I really have no clue though.

I don't remember if it did it before we started leaning it out.
and I've never gotten AFR on previous dynos

I will have to check the logs on the run to see if that was present before the UTEC was installed or it exhibited that condition as soon as the UTEC was in there.
