I thought they had a beefier MAF for sale that would accomodate the more extreme intake flow of FI?

MAF sensor is fine up to it's rated capacity. MAP sensors are used on cars that you cannot get a calibrated high capacity MAF sensor on.

All current factory forced induction vehicles utilize MAF for fuel control, they only use MAP for boost control. Aftermarket ECUs use MAP because they can align to a known value, if you put a MAF in a different size tube you would need to recalibrate it. MAP is not as accurate as MAF and will not account for the density of air.

We use a modified Nissan MAF sensor on cars with over 600whp without issue. The MAF we're using only registered a very stable 4v, with a 5v maximum so it should be good for up to 700-750whp. If we get a car here capable of turning the rollers that hard we'll be verifying that.

HR motor vehicles obviously use twin MAF, so we're stable at over 1300whp once we get HR support going.

For what's it worth, as the OP, I did my research and went with UpRev and I'm happy. I have faith that when I'm financially ready to support a turbo setup the right way, I'll be able to take the end-user Osiris to any good tuner and they'll be able to use the system with ease even if they're not an affiliated shop.
