- Haltech or HKS F-Con if you don't mind spending 3k+
- Utec if you wanna spend @ 800
- I'd only get a reflash if they custom dyno tune your car for it.

There is a good Haltech Platinum 350Z tuner shop in Fountain Valley... pm me if you need more info.

We've been very successful with Osiris and a new MAF sensor. If you feel comfortable with your own tuning ability we'll have the Osiris Tuner shipping by Monday next week, or you can take your car to one of our So Cal shops. We don't have any shops in the Bakersfield area yet.

Also you have to remeber that tuning a Haltech or F-con will be at least 2 to 3 times more expensive then tuning a utec.

UpRev has no business offering anything for FI at this point, especially in this thread. The dude is clearly not a self tuner.

I really don't know what your issue is, but you'd be wise to learn before inserting your foot in your mouth.

Firstly you don't know this person, they may wish to tune their car themselves.

Secondly we do offer full support for FI car and have for over 6 months now. If the customer was to get an HKS FCon or any other stand alone unit he would be taking it to a tuner to be installed and tuned. The exact same course of action he would take to have Osiris tuned for FI. We support over 650whp on super charged, single, and twin turbo applications. We've even had a Modified MAF sensor made to support these vehicles.

I'll continue to sell my product to people on this board, and if you constantly want to bad mouth a sponsor because of your own ignorance you will raise the ire of the moderators.

Shawn Church was highly recommended to me in the SoCal area. I should be dropping my car off to him soon.

UpRev, are you able to shed more light on these modified MAF's? I checked your site but didn't see it listed as a product yet.

They aren't up yet, we're getting our first non-testing batch monday/tuesday of next week. They will be listed once we have the new store up and running.

We checked out the units on three FI cars, VEX Tuning did one, Henson Performance did one, and we did one. All came back with identical info and they have been used by the Mustang guys for years now so we're real confident in them.

Can't wait to start distributing them!

if you can afford it, I'd go with a standalone.. if not, I'll let Utec kick in, yo.

Haltech, if you can swing it, will give you the most control and features for things like built in (mapped) boost control, map sensor input, traction control, real time tuning, aftermarket wideband support (stock widebands are crap compared to aftermarket options), configurable maps etc. $2300 - they've got a special going on to include widebands and/or boost solenoid till the end of Sept. Contact Hal@IP.

Osiris would be my next choice if you're on a budget. Keep in mind you'll still need a boost controller if you want to adjust boost. And you'll need a reworked MAF for your boost levels. And you need to find a licensed pro-tuner. Contact UpRev to find the closest one. The end user version is now available, so this is now a reasonable option if you're going to stick to mild to moderate boost and don't need the features or fine tuning ability of the Haltech.

With these 2 great choices available, I wouldn't recommend the UTEC any longer unless you really just can't afford even Osiris, which I believe is $900 (close to UTEC, but I'm not sure if that includes a new MAF). Of course, if you don't live near a pro-tuner, then UTEC may be the only budget option.
