Default UTEC transition

I don't notice any transition going from closed to open loop. But coming out of open loop I notice a jerk sometimes.

the UTEC is set to go open loop at 0PSI. It stays open loop until it comes back out of boost. It doesn't matter the RPM, TPS, ect as far as i can tell.

The jerk only happens when coming out of boost abruptly. I can avoid it by releasing the gas slowly.

Do you think messing with the 0% column would help? The transition delay is already set to quickest (0 I think)

I got the same thing happenin to me, I think its the way its tuned. its set to be rich up at the top and when you let off the Utec goes to the 0% column where the factory ECU messes with things, I think it causes too much fuel and you get something like a backfire... atleast thats what I interpreted it to be. There was a thread from some WRX guys that tuned it out, but you'd have to search around. Thats kinda my only gripe with the Utecs drivability, otherwise it senses knock great, and responds nicely, the Overboost function has saved my motor more then once (APS ST stock wastegate SUCKS) then my MBC mucked with the Tial, and all in all the Utec has done its job... so its something you can try and tune out, or drive around... Ive done the latter so far, but Im goin to get re-tuned so we'll see

set your open to close loop delay, and check if that spot is a rich spot.

things are much easeier to tune if u have a tuner pro to log your AFR in every RPM.

Thanks guys for the tips. Luckily my tuner is willing to play with it to try to smooth it out (he says it should be a simple fix). I'll update the thread afterwards, probably in the next few weeks.
