Sorry guys if it sounds stupid, but i've installed my intake, res test pipes, exhaust and plenum spacer...i think i'm ready for a tune. Can a certified mechanic do this like the guy I go to for most of my problems when i have them or would i have to go to a specialist??? I want to spend around 500 if i can keep it that low...

Not sure of any local shops (I'm in the Harbison area of Columbia). I know of places in Atlanta and Charlotte though.

not really...i'm mid-twenties, own my house and just trying to be smart with my money before i go blowing it on something that doesn't work so i ask around? as for the search function, i would like to hear opinions from people who have had experiences with this from the forum; not 95% of the trash you find on the internet telling you what you get and you get it and it's crap...i've owned my 350 for 2 and a half years now and am proud to say i'll have it paid off in the next couple of months...but thanks anyway

u need to get a piggy back and get dyno tuned by a professional, or go get a ecu flash somewhere that offers it...uprev offers a nice flash if u have any tuners around..dont just go anywhere thats for sure...i drove 6 and half hours to get tuned after i put the vortech on...tuning is a big deal

if u plan to go forced induction in the future get a piggy back now such as a utec so it will still benefit u in the future and be able to use...a mail in flash is something for n/a guys to consider but will never be as good as a good dyno tune by a good shop and tuner...or uprev has a good flash like i said and could be altered in the future but u have to have a uprev tuner around which in my area is not gonna happen but maybe for u

i dont have experience with it, i have heard it gets the job done if u have a cobb tuner, but just think about the future and if it will benefit u then if u ever change ur setup ya know so u dont have to worry about selling it for another ems system or something...like i said im not too familiar with cobb, just because there are better systems out for that price i feel...find out which shop u will be going to and ask them what they recommend tuning...but make sure to pick a vq shop from this board pretty much and not just some little jo shmo shop who thinks they can tune
