Hi,

I just installed new 650 RC injectors. I also have a UTEC and the infamous hot starting issues. The stock Osiris table shows the following for the starting Fuel enrichment for each coolant range:

-40C, 113.6%
-20C, 105.9%
0C, 100.9%
20C, 94.9%
40C, 89.1%
60C, 83.9%
80C, 79.2%
100C, 75.2%

How is the table adjusted? What numbers would make sense to use and what's been proven to work?

OK, whatever. I guess nobody can answer. I just decided to play with the numbers; I lowered the -40C to around 105% and the 100C to about 25%. That has improved the hot starts quite a bit. I might lower it some more.

I left -40C, -20C, and 0C alone as I haven't gotten near to those temps. I'm sure when I get home I may have to modify them a bit.

Mine, as yours, are also considerably lower than what they are stock. I have DW 600cc injectors. IIRC 100C is in the ~20% range. From what I understand, you can also modify cranking fuel with the fuel compensation table and the 400RPM row.

Haltech has a similiar setup called cranking inj. rate and instead of #'s with % they have similiar size number like @ 84F / 115 ms. My Z is cold starting great but hot starts were a problem so I have lowered the #'s to 84F/ 115ms to 218F/45ms. The car hot starts much better.

Can I go to an authorized tuner/dealer and have the base flash done? I already have a Utec and do not want to completely switch over at this point.

Lots of tuners flash the ECU when using a standalone.

Not sure if there are any tuners doing that on Mars however...
