where is engine management located???

Question where is engine management located???

sorry for the nube question but i recently bought my z... and it's got some mods done to it and idk if it has any engine management (technosquare, uprev, ect..) where would it be if it were in the car so i can check???

Inside your ECU you wouldn't be able to check.

Technosquare and uprev are reflashes. If anything, there would be a sticker.

Chebosto and others can confirm this.

if it has a unit like a motec m600 or sumthin or the greddy emanage or whatever, it will usually be somewhere around the passenger seat leg room, under the carpet or whatever... check there... if theres nothing, then u cant tell cause it could be a software thing without any hardware..

Technosquare puts a sticker on the ECU. The ECU is located under the dashboard on the passenger side. Poke your head under there and you can see the big black plastic connector.

If it's flashed with Osiris, (shop ECU flashed), then any UpRev pro dealer can plug in and check if the ECU has been licensed (flashed).

If you have a UTEC, FCON, HALTECH, or any other physical box, they are usually mounted under the passenger dashboard as well, or the passenger kick panel.

ok thanks a bunch!! that really helped. im going to check tomaro..hopefully there is something there
