Default Hitting boost sooner.... Retune??

After installing the HKS evc, I hit full boost almost 1k rpm sooner in 1st and 2nd gears with the STS turbo. I was tuned 2 months ago at 9psi with a manual boost controller. I now run daily with the controller set at 8psi and hit full boost sooner with the evc. Do I need a retune...or should I be ok?

What type of ems are u running? If a utec just post a log and we will see.

When I had a utec and a Blitz EBC. Boost came on quicker too. So I re-tuned the utec myself, wasn't that hard to do.

If you have a local tuner that you can stop by, it would be worth having them look over. If need be it should only take short time to clean up that area.
