Default AFR Improvement --> ??HP

Question to anyone here that may have an answer/estimate:

If I was running with an 11.6-11.9 AFR, putting out 271whp in 4th gear, what would an improvement of the AFR to 12.9-13.2 do in terms of performance? Any guesstimates?

Nobel Peace Prize to whoever answers first.

lean u out, not sure where these cars should run as far as a/f when n/a, im sure its on here somewhere just never been a concern of mine...there is an optimal a/f ration for n/a and thats where u are safe and not too rich or too lean and making ur power, if u lean it out too much u will cause problems to the engine

Well, 12.9-13.2 is that sweet spot.

I had originally gotten a tune, but I guess an exhaust leak caused it to get tuned at the wrong AFR (11.6-11.9). A subsequent eTune pushed it up to 12.9-13.2 where it should be. Now that it's where it should be, I'm curious how much more power I'm making.

Here's your Nobel Peace Prize, btw!

There are more NPP's to go around for other contributions, everyone!

Every engine will be different, but 5 to 10 at most. I have found mid to upper 12s to be ideal on the bulk of average NA VQs

Cool. Very cool. Thanks for the estimate. I'm hoping to actually hit up a dyno later today if possible and get a concrete number. That's really good to have in mind.

Here is your Nobel Peace Prize, kind sir!
