Alrighty......any reason you chose to go with utec? Not too bad a result considering the minimal mods.

you cant compare #'s between different dynos.... Take it back to that dynojet for a true evaluation of your money spent.

congrats on the tune though.

A delta gain of 23whp on one brand of dyno, will be pretty consistent across any dyno, assuming conditions are fairly similar. Plus the baseline was about 9whp lower on the dynapack.

Well i bought the nismo used for $500
-hr y-pipe $80
-spacer $150
-lower manifold $80
-testpipes:$150 (had these for almost three years, older megan testpipes)
-Utec used with map selector: $600, tune: $350

So i guess 1900 total. Not to bad.

Actually its not 23whp for 2k, its 23whp for $950 if u want to be exact. Another G would of got me a used vortech with no engine management, no injectors, & probably some other missing parts. Oh yea lets not forget installation cost & tuning too. FI is not cheap!

I love it when everyone says "Oh if you just spent a little more you coulda went FI".. Well FI isn't for everyone, and I'm sure he thought about it just like every other Z owner.
Good numbers dude, I'm having mine done in the spring and I will post the results.
