Default Tuned w/Uprev Big Thanks to Vince @ R/t Tuning

Im starting this thread to post my results and tell my experience about getting an Osiris tune by a non-protuner.

I was recently tuned(horribly) by a local tuner which was a disaster. I won't go into specifics, but I was by no means satisfied. The Osiris capabilities and full product features were not utilized. In addition the gains were atrocious despite the fact it was a Mustang dyno.

I was pretty dismayed and purchased the osiris tuner from Vince. I had pm'd him to take a look only for his opinion regarding the tune as I was disputing it with the shop's tuner. Low and behold, Vince emails me back and updated ROM which gained 10 whp/ and 10 wtq above and beyond the previous tune which was essentially no good. To be sure, I went to a Dynojet location with the original tune and dyno'd there. 249whp using that tune.(Original tune only netted ~4whp/3wtq)

While strapped to the dyno I Reflashed using the ROM provide by Vince and did a few pulls. The result was improved power and torque.
259whp which netted 10whp over the previous tune and I gained about 9wtq also. Additionally, Vince provided me with the 5 maps (which should've been included from the other tuner) and also fixed the Idle from previous tune.

I placed many calls and Vince was busy im sure, but he took the time to answer questions and in the above instance helped out this board member.
I've gotta say that I was very pleased with care and service and I highly recommend Vince and R/T tuning.
I will post the pre/post dyno's later from my home pc.

Rich

I purchased the Osiris tuner from Vince as he is both a pro-tuner and dealer I believe.

Below is the dyno comparison with the botched tune in blue. Vince's tune minus my car ever being there, in Red.

JWT Intake
MREV 2, honed and polished
Crawford V5, honed and polished
UR Metallic core 2.5'' HFC
MD Y pipe, 2.5'' inlet, 3'' outlet
JIC ST 3'' exhaust
GTM Oil cooler
Home made PVC catch can

I guess its not so bad. You make peak power and hold it at 5800 until 6400. I make peak power around 6300 and quickly drop off.

2005.. regular DE. I just got the MREV2 as a part of a exchange. The MREV is a DE manifold with the rear two paths polished. I ported and polished the inside of each path by a mm to smooth it out in hopes of moving my power curve up.. i guess it worked but i lost torque.

interesting.. You don't have the m/d spacer either huh? Im not familiar with the kinetix maninfold. You might be better served adding the m/d spacer instead.

Indeed, along with great customer service. The combination is hard to find.
