Default Question?

So i got my car tuned at performance motor sport recently using osirus. So i had the guy disable the rear o2 sensors so i wouldn't get a engine light to enable me to pass inspection. So the engine light came back on he was telling me it might be the front that i might have damaged them changing to test pipes. he said he cant disable the front cause there needed. Which i didn't understand at the time. i thought he was just lazy to delete the cell. Anyway he ended up disabling my engine light all together completely. He said hes not responsible if my car breaks. I said fine cause i wanted no problems passing inspection. Now i realize i should change my front O2 sensors if there bad cause it can lose mpg and horse power. Since i purchased a osirus tune threw them can i just purchase a cipher cable and software on ebay for example. And be able to re flash if i want to put the engine light back on in working order after i fix the os sensors. I want it to throw codes if something goes wrong so i can repair it. But want the option to disable it completely if i need inspection. So basically will i have a osirus uprev license even thought i purchased it threw the shop. is my Vin registered with uprev? or do i have to always go threw them now. I mean the guy is good but hes a jerk and i hate asking them. I rather buy my own cable and software so i can disable it my self or turn it on . Or do i need the flash file from them the guy seems kinda like a jerk i don't know if he would give it to me

You can buy your own cable and license, but chances are the tuner's map will have you locked out of it, so you wouldn't be able to mess with the CEL's anyway.

and sorry to inform you, but disabling the CEL light will still not make the the car pass inspection. It will never pass because the readiness monitor will never go away.

You got more problems than just getting the tune unlocked

I had the same CEL issues when going FI. You need to check with Uprev because they can help your tuner fine tune the CEL parameters.
