Dyno tune vs. Uprev tune?

I'm from MD, but my gf from college is from NY and she just moved back home...about 40 min from Vinny Ten Racing. I've done AEM CAI, DC Sport Headers, and Berk HFC's. My Stillen Y-Pipe and Greddy Ti-C are going on this Sunday. I have a few months before I decide between Vinny Ten or sending my ECU to Uprev as I still want to do MREV2 and spacer (I have an '06 REVUP) before I get my ECU re-tuned.

Also curious, why is Uprev banned? It seems everyone uses Osiris.

 

I think you answered your own question. One is a custom tune on a dyno with before and after results. The other is a mail order tune.

 

You know, I think I had that idea in the back of my mind to begin with, just had to make sure. Any idea why UpRev is banned?

I don't live far from you. Are you in a club? Are there ever any meets nearby? I'd like to see up close and personal what other people have done, so that I can make better decisions for my DB ZR.

 

Unfortunately the Baltimore street scene is almost dead. Cops chase us out of just about everywhere. Check the regional forum. Usually something happening in Columbia.
