Does anyone else feel kinda cheated by Uprev's Osiris?

Yes, you can change the format so that you don't see values in HEX now.

I can't seem to duplicate this failure on my Windows 7 machine. I think it may have been due to a couple of files that were added to the latest build to support the formatting selection that were getting missed by the updater. I just uploaded a new version of the installer that has the files already.

Try running the latest installer from our site and see if that resolves the issue now.

Still no dice on my Win 7 laptop. The installer carries the same file version that the updater was downloading last night, as you stated it would. The error message is the same.

Did you try the 'Software Updater' application?

I'm testing in Windows 7 64 bit. Are you guys using 64 or 32?

Next test... it may have to do with the configuration file we added to make the software run in .NET 4.0

Try deleting the file "xxx\My Documents\UpRev\ROMeditor\ROMeditor.exe.config" and see if it stops crashing. You may also have to delete the config files for the other programs if that does the trick.

That did it for me!

The other programs seem to work alright, should I still delete the *.exe.config files?

Updated config files are on the site now. If you guys run the updater again you should be good to go.

Wow...I guess something good came out of my tread after all...lol. Software runs great now. Weeee...

Jared, you should allow use to play with your updates more often. We could probably help you speed up product development.

I can't wait until we can do everything in rom-editor and log at the same time as live tuning

I messed around with JeffSoftware's UTI when I was running a UTEC...aside from the instability it had some REALLY nice features I would go crazy for if Uprev ever implimented.

One of the best features was that it had a separate grid instead of 'tracing' that would light up cells instead of drawing straight lines all over the place. That way you could tell where you've been on a tuning session and know how many times you hit each cell on any given map. The line tracing in Cipher is pretty awkward to deal with, and gets messy real quick.

every time i look into the decently priced tuning solutions for the nissans i am always let down.

Maybe I am just spoiled by Hondata with their K pro and Flashpro units. lol

Anyone have stability issues with Cipher? Today it took a dump twice.

Same here. Win Vista Home Premium, 32 bit. Crashes when logging. Pain in the butt when you're out on the road trying to collect the logs needed for an update.
