Default *****Church UpRev tune N/A 304.9hp & 285tq*****

I know nothing about dyno's or tuning but i just went to Church's Automotive and had the UpRev software flashed onto my G and had Sean Church Tune it.
I have heard about the DynaPack Dyno giving high numbers and all but i don't know the difference anyhow. My Baseline was 273.5 tq and 293.9 hp .. I ended up with 285 tq and 304.9 hp total. So that's a 11.5 tq gain and an 11 hp gain. There were gains throughout the powerband but the most gain in torque was 20ft lb tq at about 4200rpm. All in all the car feels stronger, and SMOOTHER throughout.. It is worth the money, i think.. well.. yeah.. the torque gain at 4200rpm is legit..

My mods are are listed in my Garage on my profile..

EDIT: Here is the Dyno Sheet..

yeah i heard about the inflated dynapak but hey.. at least it read high.. i don't c many people on here showing numbers over 300hp N/A on any dyno.. so even if i have to subtract "X" amount of horsepower from the total, it's still a higher total than most..

church's dyno has had many 300whp+ NA VQs trust me. your baseline is about 20whp too high and your final dyno is around 30whp too high.

I only made 261 torque with an HR with comparable mods and it started a BS riot. 285 for a G is

Nice gains with the tune though

Instead of looking at the raw numbers look at percentage gain. About 4 percent for torque. About 3 percent for horsepower. That sounds reasonable.

+1, at least there is a baseline to compare to.

No point in getting excited over raw numbers unless you're on a DynoJet.

Whatever the numbers are, the car is fun. It's not fast, but it's quick. And I am happy to get in the thing every minute I drive it. I've owned this "G" for over five years, and I have to say that I am definitely not sick of it. I just received a new motor less than 4,000mi ago due to oil consumption and because I had a couple of monthly payment extensions, it will be paid off in 3mos. All in all, like I said, I know nothing about tuning or dynos, and ultimately I am not a race car driver nor is this a race car, but a fun car.

I just wanted to post numbers, since I have seen and read so many posts on this forum and the driver forum. I wouldn't mind getting on a proper dyno just for fun...

I don't race my car. I haven't been to a track in almost 10yrs. My g is just my fun daily driver that has a lil extra power over stock. That's all. Can I drive.? Yes. Do I race.? Not anymore. My car is fun an I have fun with it. I just posted numbers for the sake of posting. Not to prove that my car is fast or faster than the next guy. Just to post since I tuned it...

I'm chill.. Haha.. J/k..

I'm not trippin. Just trying to explain how I'm just an enthusiast just like everyone on this forum. I mean face it. We're all adults, young or old, and we play with our cars like we're lil kids.. Big kid fun.!!!

My buddy's '04 5AT G did 286 to the hub at Church's. Stillen Z intake tube, stillen headers/HFCs/TD catback, motordyne plenum spacer. OEM valve body. I like it, it feels very smooth around town and the power comes on smooth. Versus my other 2004.5 Z, vortech at 7 psi with intake, headers, exhaust, cams, and tuned at Z Car does 380 rwhp.

I will tune at church's for comparison against my buddy's G, and I fully expect my '08 HR Z to lay down low-300's at the hub with injen CAI, stillen headers and HFCs, and Invidia Gemini. UpRev is really awesome. May put on some Enkei PF-01's and new rotors, maybe clutch/flywheel too, then tune. I'm not into retuning with each mod, save money, one and done!
