My Osiris has 4 Licenses. Does that mean I can use it on 4 cars?

Default My Osiris has 4 Licenses. Does that mean I can use it on 4 cars?

I have an Osiris Tuner version that I bought from a member here last year. I've always noticed my cable had a certain "license" count. It went from 4 to 3 when I flashed my Z, and now it's back to 4 since I've unmarried the cable and returned my car to stock.

Looking at the Osiris website, it says that each cable comes with one license for the ECU. Since mine has 4, does that mean I can use it to flash 4 cars in total?

Somebody must have goofed.. but if the Cable Manager says there are 4 licenses.. Yes, that's exactly right.

Or the member accidently got a shop's cable or something. Tuning shops will keep a cable with multiple licenses, and can just "reload" them for tuning vehicles without leaving the customer with a cable.

Thinking about it, I do believe that may have been the case. But I don't think it was accidental.

lol.. that's kinda weird.. but you're sitting on a cable that's got 4 $300 uprev licenses on them.

Mini-lottery win?

It's like the non-antiques road show! LOL!

Well, by not accidental I mean, I think he worked at a shop. Not 100% sure, though.

Oh..

Wonder if they were aware..

A "lost" UpRev cable with licenses means you're SOL.. for the tuner at least..

Hah. Sorry guys, I won't be selling anything. I'll be using Osiris on my 370Z, on a friend's 350Z I owe a favor to, and two Infinitis in the family while they're leased. LOL.
