Default osiris question

with osiris, it uses the cruise control to switch between maps. if i get final drive gears and my cruise control stops working and the CC light stays onbecause of the gears, will i still be able to switch between maps?

and how do you know which map is selected?

thanks

Yes it will still work. The 'set' light blinks a certain number of times corresponding to the map number selected.

ok, thanks. and when the CC is disabled due to the gears, its not the "set" light, its a different light, correct?

You aren't using the cruise functionality to switch maps, just the buttons. So it doesn't matter if your CC doesn't work due to the gears. As long as you have the buttons, you can switch maps.

Uprev or haltech is much preferred. Nobody uses AEM.

We did an AEM EMS tune with a throttle cable conversion set up a lil while ago..it came out pretty good. AEM just came out with their STi standalone last week, which has cam control and TBW controls, I wouldnt be surprised if they had a 350z box coming out soon...

I think it's cause they wanted to get the DBW stuff down 100%... Hopefully they do and it falls inline with pricing on their more complex series 2 boxes which is around 1700$....that would be nice...

If you don't have cruise control what would you be using to change maps?

You don't get to change maps. Use the search tool to find existing discussions on the topic.
