Default Just got UpRev... WOW!

Just got the UpRev software installed on my car with a dyno tune. all i can say is WOW what a difference! my 05 DE baseline at 235rwhp and about 225rwtq with e/tp/i/ and a spacer. car was pinging real bad at first, then realizing it had real shitty gas in it(Filled up on a rainy day...). adjusted the timing and added some octane booster to it and eventually the car made 264.5rwhp and around 255rwtq. tuner said that the car was running on around 91 octane and with 93 octane(what i though i was putting into the car) it should be able to make upwards of 270+rwhp. i'm really impressed with the amount of HP gained in just two hours of tuning. credit to Hill's Grage.

I've seen several 270whp+ bolt-on DE's come out of that shop. Frank (the tuner) does an awesome job with Uprev

Holy hell! That's pretty impressive. I know UpRev has been on my radar, but this has me completely interested in it again.

I was checking this section for something else, then saw the most recent post was about UpRev, and had to give it a read.

Just so you know guys the final result it 20% uprev 80% tuner... before you dump $700 on your local shop assuming you'll get equal results keep that in mind. I've personally seen many [insert big name] shops only adjust fuel on N/A tunes, when it takes timing+fuel to see these types of results.

Well I assume UpRev themselves will now how to tune, and that's who I would go to haha.

So you would drive all the way from CA to TX to get an N/A tune? LOL. They might know the software but they aren't champion tuners compared to other experienced tuners (no offense Jared! you guys rock though). Everyone has their own methods.

it does have a lot to do with the tuner, but also it has to do with how your car is performing when u take it to them. if its at like 260whp already dont think that the uprev will add another 30 to that. it might add about 10-15. my car was just running really lean when i took it in.

Maybe you missed the Dallas, TX in my location also. First I would drive home to Dallas for the summer, then down to Austin.
