Haltech issues
Hi all!
I'm a 350Z TT owner from Europe and actually kind of in trouble.....
I have a 2004 GTM stage 2 TT 350z with built HKS engine, DW 600cc injectors, Walbro 255 fuel pump, fuel return system and Haltech engine management.
While driving the car, I have some issues with my Idle: I stop at a red light and if I take the feet of the pedal when I have 3000 rpm, the idle goes down and finally engine stops. From time to time, around 1500 rpm the Idle is hunting...
The tuner is trying to convince me that it will never work like the stock ECU but I have some doubts about the setups...Problems also with cold start...
Check engine light turn on from time to time and I have error codes for ignition and bad cam angle...
Has anibody experience the same problems?Any clues how to fix it?

the cam error is not unexpected if your tuner did cam tuning.
With that size injector, the car should idle perfect. I think your tuner meant to say, with his tuning abilities, your car will never run like stock.
Have you tried doing a correct TPS reset. That helps hunting issues alot of the time. The car has to be at operating temp before doing the calibration.

With the modifications you listed and DW 600cc injectors.. that car should start and drive like stock. It sounds like you need to find a new tuner if he is telling you that is normal.

So, today picked up my car from the tuner. The car runs fine except the idle that from time to time hunts, but I have a new problem: my VDC, ESP don't work anymore. Found the C1131 and C1130 error codes and we couldn't get it fixed...anibody any clue?
