Default UTEC with 850cc injectors - help

First off - Yes! I haven't switched to Uprev yet!

Second - Stock engine with SFR TT kit, dual fuel pumps, 850cc deatschwerks all with a poopy 350z UTEC (2.8v). Running 8lbs.

Here's the problem... UTEC got damp and we took it in to get serviced and lost my tune. I've been working on the tune for nearly a month and I got the car pretty close, but I don't feel comfortable daily driving it. The problem is, is I KNOW my tune is wrong! The min MAP is -10 and the max MAP is 10, threshold MAP is -1. It makes no sense to have my min at -10, but that's the only way it will run. I used the Greddy750cc MAP to get close, but its max is 22psi, so I hit boost in the 30-40% load columns causing very rough transitions.

I would just like someone to help me figure out how to "rescale my MAP" or send my a map that would get me closer to running smooth. PLEASE!!!

you never saved a copy of your map to your computer?

yikes....

either way, been a while since I used a UTEC but min Map at -10 is 20"Hg, which is correct. You idle right around 20"Hg.

What else is the problem with the way it runs when you have it setup like that?

Why not just make "max map " using the greddy file 10psi, if that file works? That will rescale your load columns.

I did save it, but that was on another laptop which no longer exists. When we noticed the UTEC was acting up it would no longer sync to the computer and I couldn't save the tunes.

The problem is the Greddy map (which is the model I used) was scaled to 22, is now scaled to 10. That only lets me run the first 40% load colums and my ideal load points are between 30-70% where it becomes very detailed on the fuel input. So right now my transitions in and out of boost are rough. You can really feel the car studder, but AFR is ok. As for mapping at -10, you are correct, but that is controlled by MAF in the 0% column (unless I somehow made my UTEC act as a standalone...).

I am rescaling the load points and trying that tonight, but I know that will just give me more to iron out.

If anyone can throw a tune my way that is mapped from ~-1 - 10, then I could cut down the fuel to go with my 850cc injectors... I beg.

Don't waste your time with the UTEC, tuning with Hyperterminal sucks ***. The marketplace is flooded with used Haltechs now that the new one came out, do yourself a favor and pick one up!!!
