Default Tuning 350z vortech system.

hey everyone, right now I'm in the proses of getting tune just that I have 2 options and want more
opinions.
Mods:
kinetix intake pletnum
Edge test pipes with resonators
full dual 2.5 stillen exhaust
full V2 vortech supercharger with 3.12 pulley
550cc injectors
walbro 255lph fuel pump

Now my 2 options is either tune it with the SS box (R4 software) witch they charge me 350$ or tune it with uprev stock ECU for 850$. at some point uprev sounds stated since they can set the idle with higher rpms and they can pick up the red line point to 7100 to get a little more boost out of the supercharger but I just don't know if the $850 is worth it. What you guys think?

get a 2.87 pulley and you wont need to bother with a higher redline.

You dont need a higher idle either. The SS box tune is fine.

yeah I don't mind paying 850$ but if one is better than other one I rather do it with the one is worth it. and I do need to put the idle higher since everytime I let my car on for more than 5 minutes it turns off I have I leave the AC on so it won't turn off. how much psi would the 2.87 give me? and if I do that I'm gonna have to get the GTM extra pulley so the belt wot be slipping.

I used to have a vortech setup so i'll give my 2 cents. i used the ss box with success. made 405 whp on a 3.12 pulley. never had any idle problems. i had stock cats and stillen exhaust and saw 11 psi at redline with that pulley. cant comment on the uprev, havent used it before.

11psi!!! wooow then I'll probably have a boost leak cause right now I'm my boost gauge is hitting around 7-8psi I mean I know you had the stock cats witch is more restriction but I don't think it should be that much.

if i recall correctly; 7-8 psi is normal for the 3.12 pulley. its been a long time since i read up on vortechs tho. so I may be wrong. every car is different.

i used SS box and uprev. You can find tune the uprev better to work with those injectors since they are pretty large for ss box but that doesn't mean it won't work properly.

Either way is worth the money. You could use either.

as for the boost, every car is different. Never go based on a boost pressure number. It means zero in the world of power. Chances are you have belt slip if your boost pressure is low. That's the number 1 cause of low boost problems (or a loss of boost) with the superchargers. A log of the boost pressure will easily show belt slip.
