I was in the process of changing to a different laptop to reflash my car and noticed UpRev doesn't have Cipher as an offered download like it used to.

I saw the Osiris Installer, but had difficulty installing it for some reason. When I got it installed, it showed "Osiris Suite", however I didn't see Cipher attached to it. Fortunately I had saved the downloaded executable files of Cipher and Osiris on the other laptop, took it and installed it on the current laptop.

It's got me thinking if UpRev is keeping it from people unless Cipher is bought through them? Since I bought my tune and cable through R/T, people in the future might have issues running logs if they can't download it.

Anyways, maybe I'm missing Cipher somewhere? Otherwise FYI. I have the original executable files so it doesn't really affect me.

 

cipher is installed when you install the Osirus suite. It doesnt make any icons for it though, you need to send shortcuts yourself.

 

i had the same issue the other night, i changed my laptop so when i downloaded the osiris installer cipher wasnt included. i also had a bit of trouble getting the download to finish smoothly. it was late so i gave up and havent messed with it since lol

 

Thanks guys for your responses. I'll need to try and play around with the suite version next time and find Cipher. The icon for Cipher didn't appear so it had gotten me concerned.
