Default getting started

I just purchased a 2003 350z w/93k miles. I am looking to do some mods to it. When I bought it it had a fujita intake on it. For now that will stay on it. (Turbo coming after all other bases are covered) I am assuming my next step is the exhaust and a tuner. Any suggestions?

Nothing is really set in stone but that would be a good choice. Check out the motordyne 5/16 plenum spacer while you are at it.

Adjustable Sway bars. I have hotchkis version 2 and I love them. I would suggest getting all the bolt ons you want before the tune. Save time and money.

If you plan on going FI at some point, save aaaaaaaaaaaaallll your (bolt on) money for that. Just work on suspension/brakes/tires if you have to mod. Forced induction is expensive and you'd be better off saving for that from the start vs. bolt ons then going FI later. That's my 2 cents

Thx guys for the response. I do plan on fi in the future. I have been looking at exhaust systems. I am thinking about getting a cat back system that will hopefully work with the fi kit. There are two, both magnaflow one has 3" mid-pipe and 2.5" tailpipes and the other is 3" all the way back. I have a mazda6 with the magnaflow 3" true duals w/4" tips. Very happy with it. That's why I started there. Borla makes a nice system for my z but is more pricey. As far as tires go. My z is a summer car for me so I wanna go with a good durable street tire. I curently have bridgestone lm-60. 225/45r18 frt and 245/45r18 rear.

When it comes to exhaust, there are honestly too many to list. Just do a little looking around. If you ask which one is best, people will just tell you the one they have.. Listen to some sound clips and read some reviews; go from there. Good luck!

Thanks again for the advice. Looks like I have a lot more research ahead of me. Work on my z won't start till it gets put up for the winter months.

For exhausts: Motordyne TDX2 & Invidia Gemini have my vote. If you're on a budget, the Invidia costs roughly 1k, but there are used exhausts popping up all over the marketplace.

As for summer tires (since you don't plan on driving in the winter): Pilot Super Sport, Hankook RS3 (low treadlife, but have heard raving grippy reviews), Continental DW, and Hankook v12 are choices to look at.

I have been looking at the invidia gemini. I like the looks of it. Price is 910 $+shipping. I just wonder if it will function properly with the hks supercharger kit I'm looking into.
