Hey guys i recently did some logs and bank one is running 160+ advance at idle and 190 at wot. What could be the problem? bank 2 is 0 at idle and around 30-50 at wot.

 

considering max cam advance is mechanically limited to 40 degrees, those numbers dont make sense.

I had the same trouble when I did the HR head swap into my 370z.
I thought there was a sensor defective of a bug somewhere..

you are the 3rd guys that I see the same type of cam logging.

so you are fine.
Uprev did this on purpose or there is just a bug with the Rom editor logging.
Since on my side if I log with Cipher, both exhaust cams show the same 1xx number.

Download the free trial version and use that to view logs. I think the trial is limited to 2000 rows, but it's easier to highlight the part of the log you want to look at in Excel and create a smaller file that will fit.

Looking at numbers and making graphs in excel is tedious. Just save your selection in a new excel file, and open it with MegaLogViewer. You can have up to 4 graphs with 4 parameters each, all from a drop down menu.

I actually ended up buying it because I didn't even want to do the snip-and-paste with excel either.
