This has been an amazing read/thread, congrats to all the brilliant people that have donated all their time and effort to get a OS tuning solution for this platform.

This is fantastic! I have been looking for info like this for a while, thanks for sharing. I'm a software engineer that is brand new to tuning, but happy to help in any way that I can. I will be trying to dump my '04 base model 350z ROM when my cable comes in, so let me know if you want it.

Anyone know how I can find out my ECU's FID IC, whether it's 7055 or 7058, so I know which kernel to use? I have an 04 350z, base model. Sorry if this has been covered already, can't find it yet...

EDIT: taking this over to romraider. Way more conversation going on, but will report back here with how the process goes.
