Default Tuned @ Hills Garage in Maryland

Not sure where to put this as I was initially going to post in the "Tuning" section, but since I'm going to give Hills Garage a huge recommendation, I figured I'd put it in the Mid-Atlantic Section.

I've gone to Hills Garage for work before (4.08 gears, and a tune on my 06 Z), about 3 years ago. Since then, I've owned a 05 STI, and then a shitty civic. I missed my Z so I bought an 08 with 20k miles last year. After keeping it stock for a about 9 months, I couldn't wait any longer. I ordered all my exhaust / intake pieces, got them installed, and scheduled my tune.

Again, I can't go on enough about the customer service at Hills. Frank (the lead tech / owner) does amazing work, his wife Suzanne runs the scheduling, and everything else there is also terrific. They're very fair about pricing and when I had 4.08 gear, I actually paid less than quoted because he said it went quicker than expected. I don't know anyone else who does that. Frank is extremely friendly and easy to talk to, answering all your questions and then some. I learn new things every time I have a conversation with him.

Anyways, on to the tune. After installing all the bolt-ons I could tell it was running a bit off, but nothing huge. I had my 06 tuned and knew what to expect on this one. I wasn't going for a specific number but rather that pretty curve and smoothing out of the rough spots, which is exactly what Frank did. Frank will sit there and tune that car until it is perfect and you're satisfied.

The car drives amazing now. All the rough patches are smooth and it's steady power all the way through the gears so it was a fun drive home. Sorry for the wall of text for what most people on this board get done, but I just felt the need to rave about the amazing customer service you always get from Hills Garage.

Baseline: 287.7 whp
After Tune: 304.2 whp

Specs:
2008 350Z, MotorDyne ART Pipes, MotorDyne XYZ / Straight Pipe, Tomei cat-back, Injen intakes.

Note: For some reason the RPM's were not matching on the data sheet, and he was using his laptop, he was running it up to 7500 RPMs.

Oh ****, that's your car? Was awesome just seeing a pure racing Z like that. Did you end up making the power you were looking for?

The UpRev Software was $350, and the tune / dyno was $300. I think just 3 pulls on the dyno is $100, if you're just looking for that.

Default question for you guys

Just curious if you guys can tell me what good numbers to shoot for with a NA 04 DE 350z. It's gonna be a bit before I get it tuned but at the moment I've got HKS Hi Power Exhaust, Kentix HFC, and a JWT popcharger. Also maybe the next step as far as mods go? Any help is appreciated because I don't know to much as far as what goes well with each part and the order to buy them. Thanx agian...and sorry If I sound like a complete noob. Lol

doubt you will get over 255-260 whp. only other thing you can add for na power is a plenum spacer, then you will def need a tune.

okay thanks for the info that will probably be my next mod. But what about things like cams, pullyes, stuff like that...agian I don't know a whole lot just trying to get ideas and good advice. Or how about the stroker kits? Eventually I'd like to go with F/I but if I can get the most hp out of it before the F/I wouldn't that make more sense?
