Does anyone know what Uprev ROM is compatible with a 350Z with 5AT VQ35DE, Car has Cruise Control, VDC & Widebands.

I got a used ECU that i need to flash & install. Original ROM is 512kb in size while the new ECU has 1024kb ROM size, As per Uprev my original ROM will not work on the new ECU.

 

You already know the ROM that you need. You will need a 512kb ECU that is compatible with your ROM. You have a DE Engine, but you have a Revup ECU.

 

Thanks Mike, I got your PM where you mentioned that my old ROM cannot be flashed to the new ECU & that's why i'm looking for another ROM that is compatible with my car.

From the UpRev ROM Support Matrix, Only two ROMs are 512kb, One for 6MT & the other is my original ROM

So, It's almost impossible to find a used ECU that has 512kb ROM because of how rare they are !

If any one has the same trims, Please let me know what ECU number do you have.

Just buy a used ECU from your SAME year/make/model and you will be fine. You will of course still need a new tune, unless the ECU part # is exactly the same as your old one you cannot flash your old tune onto it.

The ECU I got is from a 05 5AT VQ35DE, So for sure it has widebands but my concern is my VDC and cruise control might not work or cause any issues.
