Anyone know how to reduce the knock sensitivity on UPrev,my knock reads off the scale, 26500, and pulls the timing from 25 Deg to 15 deg, see log file., or is there anyway to disable knock. I cant see that 20 deg is to high for this vehicle,even with octane booster, knock still occurs.(can not hear vehicle knocking)
Could a std cat that has been hollowed out cause this ..causing back ground noise.
Anyone familiar with knock listening threshold on Uprev and the adjustment thereof..

MY09 370z manual Normally aspirated..only high flow filter and hollowed out STD cats, UpRev tuner kit..

replace all of the cam timing sproket.

 

I'm not familiar with uprev yet but my first question would be.
Do you really know that your engine isn't knocking? Have you placed a knock sensor on it and listen to it (not talking about oem knock sensor)

 

Did you figure out how to disable the knock sensor?
