I'm looking at both of those as well.

The greddy seems to require a PC, cable, and proprietary software to tune while the SAFC2 has a user interface -- aside from that they both seem to have similar features.

The greddy also requires the purchase of individual harnesses for each function (injectors, timing, etc.) while the SAFC2 has no mention of this making me assume it's provided.

Hopefully some others with actual experience with one or both of these products and chime in and help.

I don't really know what exactly does SAFC2 provide though... but according to what I was told by one of the tuners here in australia, SAFC2 does not seem to have ignition timing feature included... so I guess Greddy e-management will be better at this stage?

Also over heard that Apexi just delayed their release (supposed to be in May) on the piggy back computer which includes ignition timing and more features than SAFC2 for our cars until September/October... don't know if anyone can confirm this though!

cheers,

richie

Im leaning toward the greddy. I already have the laptop and just purchased autotap for logging. Even though the autotap is not real time logging it can still be usefull. Maybe we should post this in the FI section? Maybe get more replys.

How much would ignition timing benefit an NA application? Would advancement require higher octane to prevent pinging?
