No Technosquare ECU for 2004 Model
Just got a call from Technosquare. Sent out my ECU yesterday, they say they can't reflash the 2004 ECU because the emissions changed. They said they are working on it and it might be ready in a few months. I'm really PO'd because I just spent $40 to ship the ECU to them. They told me it says they can't do 2004 model on they're website but I can't find it anywhere. In fact, under the product listing it says "350Z 2003+". Doesn't this mean 2003 and up. Seeing it is only 2004 I'm guessing it means 2003 and 2004. WTF. Probably should have called them first before sending out ECU. Anybody with a 2004 model please be warned.

it depends on your production date...I have had a flashed ecu on my 04 since last October/November (use TS software, though did not do it mailorder)

Well mty car is an '04, but the production date on the door says SEP '03. Does that mean they can still do mine?

As of last night I know it works on 04 models with a build date of upto 10/03.
The key is to check your o2 sensor plug. There is one on the right (passenger) side of engine under hood. 4 wire plug are still flashable . . . 5 wire are not. Let me see if I have a picture of the plug around here.

yea that's why TS said. I called them and they said no ECU for 04 yet. So I am going to install SAFC which is even better but a bit cheaper!
