I've been using the eManage for about a year now and have suddenly developed a major problem which in all honesty could be anything. I have a built bottom end with the 268 Tomei cams, every bolt on known to man, 440 injectors with a Walbro 255 pump, and a n2o setup. I'm using a laptop with the eManage to add fuel and remove timing above 4k. I seem to be communicating when exporting or importing maps but have gone "extremely" rich when going WOT (not using n2o in the test), so much so that the engine bogs down. I've removed all the fuel from the map- no difference: my settings on the conversion table have always been set up at 280 to 440 (.636) I've even gone in and changed the above to "100 to 900" with absolutely no effect on A/F.. All of this testing is being done on a dyno. One last thing and I'll shut-up, I can't seem to make the "trace option" work. All suggestions welcomed!!!
So it sounds like when your laptop is connected to the eManage, you have CONNECTION, and you are able to see the values in real time...right? For instance, can you see MAF voltage and stuff on your laptop?
The trace feature has been kinda spotty with a couple of users, so I woudlnt read too much into that.
I hate to say this, but if you've tired all the options mentioned, then try to reinstall the firware on your eManage, and start from scratch.

A rpm wire had got pinched when I had a roll cage installed back in July. The only error condition I was able to detect from the eManage was that the "Trace Option" didn't work. This actually caused the system not to detect the settings on the conversion screen (280 to 440) so I've been trying to tune a motor that had 440 injectors but thought it still had the 280's. This has been the cause of the rich conditions that created more problems than I can mention (blew up 2 plenums when engaging n2o). Just got back from 4 hours on a dyno and now back up to a 200 plus shot and looking pretty good. I'm excited about finally getting to try my new 15" slicks, front skinney's, and Driveshaft Shops 1/2 axles this Saturday.

I remember you from Savannah!! By you saying East Ridge, you must be somewhat familiar with the Chattanooga area. The strip is just an 1/8th and this Saturday is our annual Draggin For Toys fund raiser. There will be about 10 different classes (only one for imports) and we usually have a big turnout.
