Default Powerlab GT35R Kit, Custom Intake

UPDATE: SOLD!!!!!!!!!

Hello Everyone. I am putting this kit up for sale because my sensible side got the better of me and I want to go with a California-legal Vortech kit instead. That being said, if anyone has a Vortech kit for a rev-up and wants to swap, pm me and we can work something out. Please keep in mind, I will expect cash on top of your kit if we trade.

On to the description.

This kit was purchased a few months ago from a memeber on this site. This member purchased the kit from a g35driver member who put 2000 miles on it. The person I bought it from never installed the kit. I never installed this kit either. It has been sitting in my living room waiting, begging.
Here is the original sale thread.
http://g35driver.com/forums/engine-p...-w-extras.html

Powerlab GT35R Single Turbo Kit for Rev-Up
If you have a non-rev (03-05) you can purchase the pipe that will make this compatible from Intense for around $150. I can give you the contact info for the PowerLab Guru at Intense (they are in AZ).

This is a complete kit with everything you need. Comes with 550cc injectors, fuel pump, intercooler, nuts/bolts, everything.
Perfect kit for anyone who wants good power out of their non-built, non-bullet-proof motor and who doesn't care about emissions.
**Also, this deletes your stock/aftermarket Y-Pipe and bolts right up to your stock exhaust. They recommend getting a 3" exhaust so I got a y-pipe-back that bolts up in the stock places.

List of extras:
-Custom dual plenum manifold w/ front mount throttle body (throttle body not actually included, just descriptive)
-Ceramic coated by Jethot
-Heat wrapped
-Turbo blanket
-HKS BOV
-TurboXS Utec (Hydra was sold by previous owner)
-Brand new Prosport Boost, EGT, Air/Fuel, A-pillar Pod
-Brand new couplers/clamps

SOLD!!!!!
Would love someone local to pick this up, but will ship at buyer's expense.

This looks so good. Good luck with the sale. If shipping to Europe wasn't killing me, I'd really buy this for my rev-up.

Does this mean you'll sell the A pillar and gauges for $150?

Good luck with canceling your order with Intense.
Vendors get super butt hurt when you cancel big orders with them.

I ordered my Stance GR+ coilovers from Intensepower.
I paid for it.
Little did I know, there was a 3-4month wait.
I know it was my bad for not asking about it.
I tried to cancel my order because people were posting GR+ coilovers left and right.
They told me they were going to charge me a 25% restocking fee.

Don't get me wrong, Intensepower had excellent customer service.
But what really pissed me off was that they wanted to charge me for a 25% stocking fee.
Why charge me when the 'shipping container' was still in Japan?
Wouldn't Intensepower want to have a set of coilovers at hand for the next customer who ordered?

hi there,
quite unique setup for the powelab..

ive seen it around in other posts.. think Ive even seen a video somewhere..

there are no power numbers on your post or previous post link..?

is there any stats that the custom Manifold adds any real benefit...or gains?

as you suggest the kit can be adapted to fit non-rev 350z.. but would there be any fitting issues in terms of clearence on a 350 with the manifold..? surely I would assume the sway bar would have to be deleted..?

I look mostly at SC setups.. I forget how the Powerlab lines up with y-pipe etc..?

Probably would be crazy. You can price it out if you want. My guess would be 3 large boxes 1 small, total weight somewhere around 150-ish lbs?

I wanted to offer them with the kit for a bargain, but if sold separately they would go for around $250 shipped. Cost me $312 shipped to my door and are unused.

Cancel it!
Honestly, if you persitently call and bug them, they get a fire lit and usually make time to get your order together. I had the same issue when buying the gaskets/clamps - didn't hear from them for 2 weeks. Finally started calling every day and they got the hint.

Can you get a link to ALL of the components needed to fit this to a DE?

The g35 owner said he put down ~420whp on a stock block with (don't quote me) 10-11psi.

The manifold is a one off make and I can't say if there are any gains. My guess is it was made mostly because the owner hated the stock manifold (like me and a lot of owners do) and wanted a cooler look.

This kit is the GT35R kit. Normally it comes made for the non-rev, but when purchased new you can buy the "06 pipe" to make it fit a rev-up. There should be zero issues with clearance. As you can see from the mounted pics in the original sale thread, the manifold does not sit high at all.

PM's replied.

I will look for a list of parts, but I already talked to the Powerlab guy at Intense and he said the only difference between my kit and the standard 03-05 kit is one pipe.

It's hard to tell how highe the inlet pipes are sitting though. I'm assuming the G35 had a stock hood..

According to the guy I bought it from, the original owner had a stock hood. The guy I bought it from also had a stock hood and had no plans to swap it out. I obviously can't say with 100% accuracy, but I can say I am almost positive it will fit under the stock hood.

Forgot to answer this. I edited the original post to include this.
This kit deletes your Y-Pipe. PowerLab recommends getting a 3" y-pipe-back exhaust. All you need is something that bolts up like the stock exhaust.

Someone buy it! I sold him this kit but couldn't get it installed cause I'm a sedan. Great kit, manifold is awesome. It clears stock hoods, I doubt itclears strut tower bars. and as mentioned, the only difference is the lower up pipe between various kits.
