273.4 bhp
234.7 with a P loss of 38.8bhp
as I said quite pleased, considering that I only have the Milltek exhaust
and before you compare them to the G-Force dyno day results, take away the 40bhp that the TT car "lost" on the NW dyno compared to the G-Force's own dyno

Wrong.
You are looking in the wrong place for the gains.
Look further down the rev range and you will see that certain mods make a big difference.
Also on the day the cars running with the pop charger had a smoother curve than those with other filters. The K&N filters actually showed a flat spot.

This however was a test run so peter never printed the data.
He also did a 6th gear run to try and dry the rollers and the car pulled just shy of 157mph.

I think its safe to say on the evidence of the day that K&N filters don't seem to work well on the 350. The K&N filter panel actually lost 3bhp compared to a standard panel full of leaves
The guy running the dyno commented on how well Steve's car picked up in the midrange. It certainly produced the goods there. I think short of going with a GT4 - it looks like the only option for more HP is forced induction - however as Steve says (as does his car) - you can improve other areas of the car other than peak HP !!

Engine management is the key...
the problem is kinding the right locksmith
You'd be amazed at how many replacement ECUs are for sale in Japan, a real shame that Middlehurst never came through on this

Dunno about that Giles - it was suggested on Saturday by someone in the know that perhaps all was not lost on that front !!!

I must admit, I was very tempted to go Nismo flywheel, when I had the clutch and cover installed. I didn't do it, as the reason I went for the Nismo was perceived longevity; whereas a lighter flywheel could conceivably cause more wear to the clutch (if not rev matching properly). Given what has happened in the past, i didn't want to take any chances. There was also the issue of 'chatter' with a lighter flywheel.

I was quite impressed with my 239.9 at the wheels on the day with only a panel filter and the Injen.
I was speaking to Lee at Middlehurst the other day and he said that Middlehurst hadn't carried out any work on the ECU, it was all being carried out with Nismo, who have now decided not to work on it at all.
I really like the Idea of a UNICHIP it's getting enough people together so that UNICHIP will make a harness for it, as I really don't fancy cutting the ECU wiring loom, and I don't really want to pay $300 for a harness from Courtesy, should there be a problem.
