Default Newbie here

Hi,

Just found the site and wanted to say hello.
Also a couple of quick questions as my local dealer (Guildford) is not totally clear,

- he says the soft top version will not be coming to the UK? Anybody heard different?
- What is the price, he has said for a fully loaded top spec £26.5k, I have seen some on here saying almost £28k?
- Last, what is the waiting time, he is saying if I order now I can expect it in April next year

Thanks for any replies
Anthony

Hi,

The softop will not be in the UK till 2005.

Base model is 24k, GT is 26.5K, GT with Rays Alloys is 27.5K

Q2 2004 is currently the expected delivery date for models ordered just now.

Hope this helps....

From what I have heard you'll be lucky to get April next year. I would recommend going for a drive at Guildford, however I would not recommend doing any business with them. They had very little knowledge of the car they had on their forecourt, making a lot of their answers up and in general very vague about the whole ordering process. They also failed to contact me on several occaisions. Although they weren't too bad, I've experienced a lot worse!! I had already ordered my car through Asta Nissan in Woking, and I will recommend them highly to you if you want to order. They are really interested and excited by the Z. They are a family run outfit, don't be put off by their smaller showroom, etc. They're good guys

Add another 300 for metallic and that's virtually 28k. 4 grand more than the base spec.

But you know it's going to be worth it

Hi AntonyP

I see you're from Camberley! I actually work in Blackwater, on J4a of the M3. If you fancy a play before you get your car (you'd be silly not to order it), then we can hook up. I get my car some time this year and am so looking forward to it.

Cheers for the replies guys,

I am really gutted about the soft top not coming till 2005.
I currently drive a Honda S2000, a fantastic car but it is coming up for two years old and I am think of changing.
Saw the pics of the convertible - now that is car
Bit of a dilema now, to wait or not, now that IS a question??????
