Default changes are afoot...

Seems to have been some promised June changes on the Nissan 350Z website...

http://www.nissan-350z.co.uk

unfortunately, I can't see the changes 'cos I'm using Mozilla on Sun Solaris... will have a look tonight on my laptop at home.

There's nothing on there we haven't already seen.

These Flash websites really annoy me, even on a broadband connection they're slow, unweildy, and frankly unattrictive (except presumably to people in marketing departments).

Cheers Gizmo, gutted though. the background picture on the launch page has changed, so I assumed that some of the main stuff had changed too :-(

There's stuff which is new to the website, but the "goodies" appear to be the same as on other Z sites and there's no information there which we don't already know.

Cheers matey, just finished checking it out now, and got an email from Nissan to tell me they had done it... how nice... it arrived after I'd first tried looking at the site anyway

probably easier if you can see the full picture.... and maybe run the screensaver.....

so silly... what they've done is flipped the picture left/right... the sign at the top should say bay 3, but strangely doesn't... must be a US model of the car or something, trying to make it look right hand drive (not that you can tell anyway).

Thumbs up ORDERED 350Z

GOT A 350Z ON ORDER AND RECENTLY BEEN INFORMED IN MAILDROP TYPE LETTER FROM DEALER THAT I CAN EXPECT IT IN FIRST QUARTER OF 2004.
BIT CONCERNED ABOUT JEREMY CLARKSONS REVIEW:- THE BUILD QUALITY OF THE STOWAGE AREAS SEEMS TO HAVE BEEN A CONCERN FOR MANY...........HOPE NISSAN LEARN QUICKLY IT IS COMPETING WITH AUDI AND BMW AND EVEN THE PORSCHE BOXSTER AFTER ALL.

I WENT FOR A BLADE SILVER WITH THE CHARCOAL LEATHER AND BOSE STEREO................HAD TO THINK HARD IF AN EXTRA TWO AND A HALF GRAND WAS WORTH IT!.............STILL NOT ENTIRELY CONVINCED.

DIDNT GO FOR THE RAYS ALLOYS THOUGH........DECIDED IF I LIKED EM I WOULD ORDER THEM LATER..............AFTER ALL I THEN KEEP THE SET OF WHEELS ALREADY ON IT.

THIS SEEMS AN EXCELLENT SITE, NISSAN WOULD DO WELL TO APPROACH THE CREATOR SO WE CAN HAVE SOME OFFICIAL REPLY FORUM...............AFTER ALL THIS SITE AND THE IMAGES MADE ME PURCHASE A 350Z NOT THE OFFICIAL SITE.

GOOD DRIVING.............AND HOPE TO GIVE YOU ALL A FLASH OF HEADLIGHTS ON THE ROAD.............

STAVVI.

The one thing I can see:
It appears to have Brembo breaks with Touring wheels.

Sorry about the Caps Locks peeps!

Counting down the days to delivery up to APRIL 2004!!!

Talk about keeping people in suspense....bit like Audi with the TT I guess but as long as Nissan don't dumb it down.

Audi are releasing a 300bhp V6 version Great! cos its a nice car! but at the same time producing a 150bhp two wheel drive to get into the MGF and Maxda MX5 markets.............yuk!!

Don't go the same way Nissan.....or you'll lose the chance of creating a Marque and have to rename the parent company i.e what Toyota did with Lexus!

Anyway........have done my customer research and the lines of the 350z are considered sexy by the women, so should be able to pull in it........although Motels will be busy cos no back seat......lol.
