in order from left to right is me, kpierson, TripleD, and my brother in law. They got us for 75 in a 45 on the parkway. Anyone that's driven it knows it's a pretty straight road that is perfectly safe to drive fast on but they had rangers on it this year unlike last year. We have to come back and go to court.

 

wow that sucks man. ive never seen anyone but a Busa get ticketed on the parkway.....bastards. yeah they take those wreckless driving tickets pretty seriously. friend of mine got one for going sideways around a turn and a cop saw him. (he was a minor at the time) got a year of supervised probation, 40 hours of community service, a 10 pm curfew (they tried to make it 8 pm) and they tried to take his damn cell phone...backwards *** blount county laws...i really hate blount county, wish the dragon was on the NC side of the border.

 

cleared up really nice Saturday.

 

Damnit I wish I would of had enough cash and my car by then.... Next year for sure.

i didn't see any happen, but saw one G35 get brought in on a flatbed after billy-bob in a truck was across the yellow line in a curve and the G driver put the front passenger side into the wall. totaled it


also heard some motorcyclist ate the front end of a truck

also rumor (not confirmed) that a roadster and a 300ZX hit head on in a curve. didn;t see any carnage from that

 

I was there when a 300zx and a ppw coupe hit head on in a curve. Got footage but prefer not to show

 

the gtr was great but this is just pathetic every rim but one looked like this on the car sad



didn't see the wrecks but me and two other guys white turbo z and a turbo g sedan went up to the cherohala skyway
5300 feet was up there

this road wasn't as tight as the dragon but alot of high speed corners lots of fun

 

That ride was awsome. Can't wait to go back up and run on it some more. It was nice to meet you guys. see you around.

 

yea the other 35 miles or so that my buddy and i finished was awesome had a couple corners you could pull around 90 to 100 if you push it haha just a sick road how far of a trip was it for you guys to get up there from SC?

 

It is about 2.5 hours. It took a little longer to get back today. A NC highway patrol got us coming down 28 just before hwy 74. Ticketed all three of us for 70 in a 55. Then a dog run out in front of me on 74. It did not mess the car up thank god. So it took a while to get home today.

 

seems like there are several every year. technical road with lots of out-of-towners. somebody flipped a Z last year if im not mistaken? ended up in the middle of the road on the roof.

 

anyone got pictures of the cars that hit head on? also where exactly that happened? i hope everyone was ok though

 

God that was a great weekend. I had a blast witheveryone. It was great meeting everyone. I hate that i'm back in the real world.

 

I honked when we drove by. I noticed you returned the favor later on.

The Cherohala skyway is better drive than the Dragon. On the 1st Mountain Cruise at the gas station turn around went thru the skyway with a few Z32, it kinda sucked because the cloud cover was so low that I could barely see the car ahead of me. Plus add those slow *** motorcycle cruisers!
