Same here. I thought I prepayed a room but they said when they ran my credit card sumthing happened and they wrote down the wrong number to call me back?? WTF!! I still need 2 find sumbody to bunk with bc money is running out LOL

 

when I went in Oct. it wasn't that bad but other said the week prior it was horrible. Not so sure about now though.

I'm going to try my best to be there this year!

 

I got my confirmation back from Fontana Village yesterday in the mail and I'm good to go. I'm staying in the lodge and I think I paid 74.00 a night for 2 queen beds.

 

$74.00! I just got off the phone and they charged $99. Same as you, two gueen beds at the lodge. I don't care. Just glad to be there. Does anyone know how many rooms this place has?

 

Did you tell them that you're with the ZDayz group? I think we get a special rate.

Hey folks. I am looking to represent the Northeast and make the 14 hour trek. Few questions, hopefully you can help me out:

1) What are we looking at for overall cost here? nevermind gas, I already know how much that is going to be. But with the Hotel, and everything that goes on, anyone have a good idea of what they are spending?

2) I see people saying they are getting two bed rooms for $75-80..I am wondering if all the Hotel rooms are two beds? If they are I better find someone to split with, I refuse to pay for two beds for just me lol.

The rooms at the lodge are the cheapest rooms. The cabins are a little more expensive. The room with 2 Q beds for 79.20 is as cheap as it gets. Google Fontana Village and it will give you the site with all the room rates. If you split some of the 2 and 3 bedroom cabins it might be cheaper.

 

I am sure that there are some people that will split a room with you. Rooms should start to fill up soon.

Cabins are the best value if you have a crew going, but there are some rustic cabins that don't have TV, heat, air, Internet, or a phone.

 

If your a Combat Vet you get a even better Discount!
