The 2009 Z Nationals is just around the corner. Being held in the fall for the first time this event annually draws hundreds of cars and spectators for a full weekend of Nissan excitement.

The 2009 Z Nationals officially kicks off on September 25th with a track day event at Talledega Grand Prix Link Here followed by an informal dinner after the track event. We have filled roughly half of our track day slots so far and registration is open online at http://www.znationals.com the cost is $150.00.

Saturday is the meat of the Z Nationals experience. Join us early and stay all day as we present the show and shine car show competition, high HP dyno competition, and a full day of give a ways and raffles. Last year over $20k in prizes were given away from Z1 Motorsports and a host of other event sponsors. Lunch is provided for the first 500 people courtesy of Gwinnett Place Nissan of Duluth and vendors are on hand with other lunch time options.

Saturday night sets up the banquet and awards dinner at the Mansion on Maple Street in Carrollton, GA. Just minutes from the University of West Georgia there are plenty of entertainment options for those who wish to leave after the banquet, but as always there will be an official after party as well.

Sunday morning presents multiple options. A convoy will be leaving out going to San Antonio for the 2009 National Z Car Convention (ZCON) and event partners Speed For Sale is staging a drag race event at Alabama International Dragway in Steele, AL.

Bryan, whats the deal with the caravan from ZNats to ZCon? We leave Sunday morning and we are stopping in New Orleans Sunday night, then continuing on into San Antonio in the AM correct?

Edit - NM I see it on the detailed itinerary now on the website. Any idea where we are stopping so I can make a reservation?

 

I don't think a decision has been mde yet as to the exact location of the New Orleans stop. As soon as I can get some info from Russell on that I'll post it up.

i got a call from dustin@Z1 yesterday and may be doing pictures for this event too. waiting on the confirmation email right now. if i do, i will be leaving sunday morning reasonably early and headed all the way to san antonio in one day. i've got to get there to get everything i need for registration etc and be ready for monday morning's activities. if it works out this way, i'd love to have some people to roll with, maybe stop and take some pics along the way etc

 

We don't stock any of those, I can get one in, but it's not going to be on the Z Nat's promo deals. We only list stocking high volume items for the specials.
